A Helping Hand for Parents: Free Home Visiting Services Are Here to Support You
Raising a child is a beautiful but challenging journey. Sometimes, what you need most is a little extra support and guidance—and that’s exactly what ENMRSH Home Visiting Program provides. This free service is available to all families with children from birth to age five. It is like having your mom or grandmother stop by with helpful answers to your problems, like how to get your child to eat better or what to do about sleeping or potty training.
The program connects you with a home educator, or “home visitor,” who works one-on-one with you to help with your child’s development. Your home visitor can meet with you at your home, a local park, or the library—wherever you’re most comfortable. During these sessions, you’ll get personalized support on everything from developmental milestones and school readiness to parenting skills and problem-solving.
They also provide:
- Essential resources to help you connect with professionals like pediatricians, mental health providers, and physical therapists.
- Developmental screenings for your child to ensure they are on track.
- Structured activities to promote motor skills, learning, and bonding.
- Information on safety and child-proofing your home.
- Free books or other items to help you child be safe, learn and grow.
One of the best things about this program is that it’s free for everyone, regardless of your income or insurance. The only requirement is that you have a child under five or are an expecting parent.
